Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a good weekend. My wife and I both had to fight off something over the weekend. She had the stomach flu, and I had a monster cold that I'm still fighting off. Luckily, I think I'm over the worst of it. Just a cough at this point and a little bit of a runny nose. Luckily, we both felt well enough that we went to see The Avengers yesterday. Now fellow comic book geeks, before you threaten to sacrifice me to the comic book gods, understand I love comics. But my training is to look at a movie, regardless of genre, from an analytical standpoint. I did like the movie. Actually both I AND my wife liked it. However, as great as it is, it's not without its faults. Luckily though, those faults aren't enough to derail what's otherwise a great start to the Summer movie season. So today dear readers, I offer to you, Marvel's newest big screen comic book based movie, The Avengers.
