Long lines a regular sight at Greenville UPS store

»  Comments | Post a Comment

We're in the holiday home stretch and many are racing to get those last minute presents mailed out to friends and family.

This is one of the busiest shipping weeks of the year and many stores are doing their best to keep up.

Long lines have been a regular sight at the UPS store in Greenville this week.

They say the number of people who come in nearly triples this time of year and that means boxes are piling up in the back waiting to be shipped out.

"We're staying even so far. I figure tomorrow and saturday will still be a strong day and Monday will still be a strong day and then at that point it should start tapering off but we'll still get the last minute guys," says Marcus Pittman, UPS store manager.

Pittman says time is running out to get those gifts where they need to be for Christmas and if your sending to the west coast, today may have been your last day to do so.
