Stressing over stuffing or looking to trim more than just your turkey this holiday season?

We have some good news for you.

That traditional Thanksgiving meal will cost you less this year than last.

The American Farm Bureau Federation says the average cost to feed 10 people this year is just under 43 dollars.

The shopping list includes nine items like turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

And experts say there are ways to cut those costs even more.

"Go for the less highly processed items. Buy the 5 pound bag of potatoes instead of buying the instant or the precooked items that are there," recommends Jim Sartwell an economist with the American Farm Bureau Federation.

More good news, consumers should continue to see grocery prices drop as well the rest of the year.
