Tax season is here and there's help if you're looking to ease your fear of filing.
State lawmakers are helping promote "free file programs".
If you qualify, you can file federal and state income taxes through five different companies.
Free filing is offered to people in the military, senior citizens and low to middle income families.
"All these great free services that are out there, you've got to take advantage of them, so you're not paying somebody if you don't have to you're not taking out these high interest fee anticipation loans, it just makes sense," said David Macklin of the Computer and Comm. Industry Assoc.
