LOS ANGELES (AP) - The action comedy "Tropic Thunder" is number one at the box office again this weekend.
Studio estimates say it's pulling in more than 16 million dollars in ticket sales, finishing just ahead of the campus comedy, "The House Bunny," which has debuted with a weekend take of just over 15 million dollars.
Rounding out the top five: "Death Race," "The Dark Knight," and "Star Wars: The Clone Wars."
Overall summer movie revenue of 3.9 billion dollars is slightly ahead of last summer's record pace. A three-percent hike in prices has offset a decline in the actual number of tickets sold.
"The Dark Night" Batman sequel is the summer's big hit. It's on track to become the second film ever to top the half-billion-dollar mark. "Titanic" took in more than 600 million.
