TORONTO (AP) - Barenaked Ladies frontman Ed Robertson has survived a plane crash, which is easy to say because he wasn't even scratched. Robertson's Cessna 206 floatplane crashed Sunday in a wooded area near Bancroft, Ontario, as he was trying to take off from a lake. Robertson's friend Gord Peel tells The Belleville Intelligencer that Robertson's wife and two friends were also on the plane. Peel says the plane stalled but Robertson managed to set it straight down into the trees with its nose resting on the ground. He says the passengers had to crawl out through the windows but were not injured. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is assessing the accident scene to see if an investigation is necessary. Robertson has had his pilot's license since 2005 and documents his plane travels on the Outdoor Life Network show "Ed's Up."
