LOS ANGELES (AP) - There's an interim deal between striking writers and RKO Pictures.
Details haven't been released, but the writers guild says the agreement includes fair and respectful compensation for writers for work used on the Internet and other new media.
The deal follows other agreements that the guild has reached with independent production companies like Lionsgate, Marvel and The Weinstein Company.
The Writers Guild of America has been on strike since November 5th. It's in informal talks with studios in an effort to end the costly walkout, which has idled much of Hollywood.
