LOS ANGELES (AP) - Julie Christie and Daniel Day-Lewis win top honors at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Day-Lewis took the opportunity to remember his late friend and colleague, Heath Ledger. Lewis, winning for "There Will Be Blood," dedicated his award to Ledger who died in New York last week at the age of 28.
Christie, whose career stretches back to the early 1960s, won for "Away From Her."
"No Country for Old Men" won the movie cast award.
On the TV side, "The Sopranos" was the big winner at the SAG Awards.
James Gandolfini and Edie Falco won lead-acting prizes for the HBO series. The final season of the show also took top honors for TV ensemble cast performance.
