NEW YORK (AP) - A TV series is being created out of the movie "Crash."

It'll be the first original drama series to air on the Starz premium cable network, which mostly is known for showing movies.

Production on 13 episodes is expected to start in the spring.

No stars have been announced.

The movie had a huge cast, including Don Cheadle, Sandra Bullock, Matt Dillon, Jennifer Esposito, Brendan Fraser, Terrence Howard, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Thandie Newton and Ryan Philippe.

Key members of the movie's production team will be back for the series, including Cheadle, who was one of the producers.
