LONDON (AP) - It came as a surprise when Web site BlueBeat.com was selling downloads of Beatles songs -- especially to The Beatles. Their label, EMI, is suing BlueBeat for copyright infringement. The Beatles' holding company, Apple Corps, has not allowed any Internet music service to sell digital downloads of Beatles songs, not even iTunes. Not only is BlueBeat offering Beatles songs, but they're 25 cents each. It includes the remastered albums that were just released in September. A BlueBeat representative could not be reached for comment. As of last night, BlueBeat was still offering Beatles songs. Bluebeat's Web site says it's based out of Santa Cruz, California.
