Jimmy Buffett will release "Buffet Hotel" next month

LOS ANGELES (AP) - That's not a typo on Jimmy Buffett's new album, "Buffet Hotel." He meant to spell it with one "T."

LOS ANGELES (AP) - That's not a typo on Jimmy Buffett's new album, "Buffet Hotel." He meant to spell it with one "T." He named the album after a colonial era train station near Timbuktu in Mali that was turned into a hotel. Buffett was inspired to write the songs for the album while going to a music festival in Mali, which he describes as one of the best musical experiences of his life. The album will come with a 24-page booklet of Buffett's adventures in Mali. "Buffet Hotel" comes out December 8.
