NASHVILLE (AP) - Kid Rock has earned a star on Nashville's Music City Walk of Fame. Rock, along with Charlie Daniels and Dolly Parton, were given stars on Nashville's Music Mile on Sunday. The Tennessean reports Mayor Karl Dean joked that he's glad Rock supports Nashville and has been staying out of the news when he's there. Rock said Nashville has "one of the finest police forces" and he's "never seen a nicer jail." Rock was arrested in Nashville in 2005 for allegedly punching a disc jockey. What's Rock doing with all those country folks? He says he's just as surprised as anyone else to get this honor.
