NEW YORK (AP) - Rihanna was among those honored by Glamour magazine last night in New York. She was presented her "Women of the Year" award by Iman, who says she is impressed with the way the pop star handled herself in her interview last week on ABC. Rihanna spoke about her beating at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown - and how she reversed herself and left him because she didn't want to leave young women with the impression that it was OK to be with someone who beat you. Iman says because she ended up leaving Brown, she is "even more impressed" with what she calls Rihanna's "dignity and courage." Many of those attending the awards said they supported Rihanna and were happy that she finally addressed the issue of domestic violence. Others who were on hand at the event were Maya Angelou, Kerry Washington, Tyra Banks and Serena Williams.
