LOS ANGELES (AP) - Slayer and Megadeth are ready to make good on the tour they had to cancel. Slayer and Megadeth were supposed to tour Canada this fall but Slayer singer Tom Araya needed back surgery. He's recovering nicely, so Slayer and Megadeth are planning a new tour to hit all those canceled Canadian dates plus several new American ones. The tour starts January 18 in Seattle. Testament will open. Because it's the first time Slayer and Megadeth have toured together since the 1991 "Clash of the Titans" tour, a number of tickets will be sold at the 1991 price of $10.
