WASHINGTON (AP) -- Co-starring in "Law and Order: SVU," B.D. Wong and Tamara Tunie are more than familiar with child abuse. Which is why they went to Capitol Hill to lobby Congress to do more to stop the rise in deaths from child abuse and neglect. A new study shows five children die every day in this country from abuse or neglect. Tunie says that's "shocking." She says it's "unacceptable" that the child abuse death rate in this country is higher than any in other Western industrialized nations.
