Movies go mobile

So you want to see a movie. But don't feel like heading to a theater - or renting a DVD. Well - how about catching a film on your cell phone or I-pod ? Alexis Christoforous explains.

If you want to see Jude Law's new movie...and yes, that really is Jude Law . Just switch on a cell phone.

And to tell the story on a small screen....each scene shows just one actor. The film is released in seven parts.

We are demonstrating this on i-phone, but you can also see it on your i-pod, on the internet, in cinemas and on DVD.

The story in RAGE takes places at a New York fashion show. While a school boy shoots a series of intimate interviews on his cell phone, an accident occurs on the catwalk. The viewer never sees anything behind the scenes . So they need to use their own imagination.

The style of the film and its cutting edge release could be risky. But not for writer director Sally Potter.

Risky or not RAGE may be the first in a long line of films to come that changes the way we see AND look at movies.

The film is available in seven episodes released over a seven-day-period on i-phones and the internet by the film division at Babelgum.
