Etta James still in the hospital

HAWAIIAN GARDENS, Calif. (AP) - Etta James' son says his mom is still in a hospital but doing better.

HAWAIIAN GARDENS, Calif. (AP) - Etta James' son says his mom is still in a hospital but doing better. Donto James says his mother is improving after being hospitalized last month with sepsis caused by a urinary tract infection. She had entered a treatment program to kick a painkiller addiction and was put in the hospital when her condition worsened. Her son says James has been moved to another hospital outside Los Angeles and is making progress. He says she still wants to perform again but he's not sure when she'll be released.
