Staying Healthy During Flu Season

We are right in the thick of flu season and if you haven't gotten it yourself you probably know half a dozen people who have had it.
    
Every year an estimated 40 million people nationwide are affected by the flu.
    
Here in the North Carolina the number of flu cases has reached a four-year high.
    
Officials say this year's flu vaccine is not as effective as in year's past, because this year's strain is a different kind.
 
Dr. Keith Ramsey, Medical Director of Infection Control at Pitt County Memorial Hospital and Professor of Medicine at ECU, stopped by Eyewitness News Nine studios to give us some tips on staying healthy this flu season.
