Want to live longer?

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Scientists say four simple steps could help you live longer. Researchers at Cambridge University say people who drink moderately, exercise, quit smoking, and eat five daily servings of fruits and vegetables live about 14 years longer than people who don't do that. Experts say not smoking and eating healthy seem to have the most life enhancing benefits.
But it could cost you a pretty penny to slim down. A new report shows the price of those fruits and vegetables is climbing far faster than inflation - while junk food is getting cheaper. The findings may help explain why obesity rates are highest among poor Americans.
