Ideas to Go Green are taking shape all over the world.
One company wants to go green by bringing solar energy to Europe with help from a desert.
"Desertec" is the idea.
Leaders from 20 industrial companies met in Germany to discuss the project.
It would put a network of solar-thermal power plants in the Sahara Desert and then transfer that electricity to Europe.
Right now it's only in the planning stages.
It wouldn't be up and running for another 10 years.
The program would supply electricity to Europe, the Middle East and North Africa through the year 2050.
