LONDON (AP) - GlaxoSmithKline PLC says that orders for its swine flu vaccine have increased by 51 percent in two months, with total orders now standing at 440 million doses.
The company said Tuesday that the first supplies will be shipped this week. It adds that it has received 22 orders from government since Aug. 4.
GSK gained European Union approval last week for distribution of its Pandemrix vaccine. Approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is pending.
