To vaccinate or not to vaccinate is a question that's becoming all the more common.

The most common question about the flu vaccine is will it cause the flu?

The answer is no.

Neither the seasonal flu or H1N1 shot vaccine contain the live virus, which makes it impossible to get.

While many people complain of flu like symptoms after the vaccine, experts say that's completely normal.

In fact, that's what is suppose to happen.

The nasal spray vaccine flumist does contain a live, but weakened form of the flu virus .

If you've had mild side effects from either the shot or the nasal spray, doctors recommend taking acetaminpohen or ibuprofen in advance
