When it comes to going green companies that make tires don't figure to lead an environmental charge.
However; one company is making its tires greener and it's doing it with oranges.
Yokohama Tires makes a tire made in part out of oil from orange peels.
Designers say the oil combined with the rubber provides the braking and cornering needed in a performance tire.
They also say the tire increases fuel efficiency and passes some savings onto consumers.
