Good news in the fight against littering in our state.
More people are Making It Green and keeping roads and highways green in the process by turning in litterers.
The DOT says the Swat-A-Litterbug program got nearly 12-thousand complaints of littering last year.
That's a 20 percent increase from 2008.
Fines for littering range from 250 bucks to two-thousand dollars.
You can report a litterer through the mail, by phone or online.
