There is a text message scam that's going around and the scammers want your bank account information.

Wachovia bankers say they have been getting a text message on their phone that tells them their account has been de-activated.

They are then told to call 804-715-9368 to re-activate it.

Bankers have also said they've recieved a text message telling them their Wachovia service is frozen.

Don't call these numbers.

It's all part of a "smishing scam". The text message version of phishing.

Always beware of text messages that ask for personal information.
