GREENVILLE, N.C. - As families across the country come together on this day of giving thanks, a community center here in the east welcomed anyone and everyone to come get a free meal for the holiday.
The Little Willie Community Center had plenty to go around this Thanksgiving as it invited the community out for fellowship and a free holiday meal.
This is the 22nd year for the Little Willie Center's Thanksgiving dinner and people in the community look forward to it each year.
Center chairman, Marvin Arrington is glad that this year's dinner was a success and that the center had enough food to feed everyone that came.
Arrington estimates that the Little Willie Center fed close to 500 people this year.
Food for the Little Willie Community Center's Thanksgiving dinner was donated by local churches and other organizations.
It was cooked and served by volunteers.
