CRIME TRACKER: GPD investigating early morning breaking and entering

Greenville Police tell Nine On Your Side that they’re investigating a breaking and entering.

It happened in the overnight hours Tuesday morning at a home off of Townes Drive.

Authorities say the homeowner reported a unknown male wearing dark clothing inside the residence when they returned home with some friends.

The suspect fled the residence through the back door.

An iPod initially reported missing was later found outside the back door.
