The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a graffiti problem.
On Sunday, someone tagged a mobile home and an office building at the River Creek Mobile Home Park.
Park manager Doris Patterson says since Easter weekend someone spray-painted the entrance sign, a vehicle and three homes.
Patterson believes it could be a disgruntled neighbor.

I lived there with my family for many years and my mom just moved out of there last year. It used to be a nice community, but has really gone down hill. The vandalism is just the most recent thing to occur, and definitely not the first. Houses, including my mom’s, have been broken into, vandalized, things stolen…you hear gunshots out there all the time. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s drug activity as well. I think the owners of River Creek really don’t care anymore who they rent or sell lots to. They are only out for that almighty dollar.
