Plymouth, Washington Police meeting on last week’s carjackings

Police are trying to find out if two carjackings last week are connected.

Plymouth Police Captain Willie Williams says his department’s been in contact with Washington Police about the carjackings.

A gunman forced Nidia Martinez into her car last tuesday in Washington.

She used her cell phone so her husband could track her down.

Then on Friday, 75-year-old Violet Bartley jumped out of her Cadillac to escape a carjacking.

Police say it’s too early to say if they’re looking for the same person.

The two departments plan to meet face to face today.
