Survey says NC top spot for business in country

An annual business survey says North Carolina is the top spot for business in the country.
   
And they say it’s higher education that put us there.

Four state universities all ranked in the top 100 for money spent on research and development.

And the title is well earned with major companies adding jobs.

Cary-based SAS, an analytical software firm, is being used to help the state go green by using federal funding for renewable energy projects.
 
Siemans is adding jobs to their Charlotte manufacturing plant.
 
And Cree is adding 275 jobs to their Durham facility.
