More Marines from the east will say goodbye to their loved ones today.

The main body of the 3rd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment based at Camp Lejeune are deploying to Afghanistan to support combat operations as an artillery battalion.

Their deployment is part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
