A tough campaign this election season’s sparking interest from a lot of you.  And some are already worried about voter fraud.

In this week’s Viewer’s Voice, just take a look at what Alan wrote in his note to us, “I do not agree with the early voting (instant vote).  The board cannot check the status or felon status of all registers.  ID’s must be checked at the polling places.  I feel that all early votes should be disregarded and everyone go to the polls or use an absentee ballot. Saves on corruption.“

I checked and the rules in our state for registering to vote, whether you vote early, by absentee ballot or on election day, require that you provide your drivers license, social security number, or a copy of an ID that shows your name and address.  And convicted felons, whether behind bars or out on probation or parole, cannot register to vote until they’ve served their sentences.

And this week we told you about pink power!  It’s an effort to save lives during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  PCMH is giving away pink power kits to teach women about early detection.

Donna says, “I saw your segment on breast cancer tonight and wanted to thank you for helping to get the word out. I am one member of the high-mileage strollers, a group of or nurses from BCH in Washington. Please continue special segments throughout this month.  It may help save someone’s life.“

Thanks to all you who wrote and called for this week’s Viewer’s Voice.
