Global TransPark $34-Million Debt

Another state audit out today shows a major business hub in the east, is tens of millions of dollars in debt, and may not be able to pay it back
The report shows as of June 30th of last year, the Global TransPark owes roughly $34-million dollars in loan principal and interest..
The auditor warns if the TransPark fails and declares bankruptcy, the state may have to repay money loaned by the federal government.
Governor Mike Easley says he still feels the TransPark is the best thing going for North Carolina.
