State and Local law enforcement crack down with Halloween “Booze It & Lose It”

    Police plan to crack down on drunk driving this Halloween with the Halloween “Booze It and Lose It” campaign runs Saturday and Sunday.
    State and local police will beef up patrols and alcohol checkpoints.
    There were 165 alcohol-related car accidents last year.
    Five people died and 143 people were injured.
    Police remind you to make sure someone in your group stays sober and does the driving or call a taxi or a friend who hasn’t been drinking.
    Also, keep someone from driving drunk by taking his or her keys then make other plans to get everyone home safely.
