LOS ANGELES (AP) - Writers have signed another interim agreement with two more small studios, Intermedia Film and The Film Department.

Details of the deals are not being released.

Intermedia's film library includes a couple of notable releases from last year: "Breach," starring Chris Cooper and Ryan Phillippe, and "The Hunting Party," starring Richard Gere.

Former Miramax Films executives founded the other studio, The Film Department, last year.

Other deals allowing writers to go back to work have been reached with independent production companies such as Marvel, RKO Productions, United Artists and Lionsgate.

The writers guild has been on strike since November 5th. Informal talks are going on now between the guild and studio bosses.
