Joe Nichols’ wife suffers miscarriage

(AP) - Some sad news from country singer Joe Nichols and his wife.

Nichols says she suffered a miscarriage last week. In a posting on his Web site, Nichols writes that Heather was in the early stages of pregnancy and they found out last Tuesday that she'd lost the baby. He says "We are doing well, and I just want to say again how much we both appreciate all of you." The couple were married in September.
