Spears in the clear after traffic accident two years ago

No action will be taken against pop princess Britney Spears for a traffic accident two years ago.

Court records show Spears and a photographer whose foot she ran over have settled a lawsuit.
   
They won’t disclose the terms of the agreement filed earlier this week.
   
Ricardo Mendoza, who worked for TMZ at the time, accused the star of assault, battery and negligently driving her car when she ran over his foot in October of 2007.
   
Mendoza eventually auctioned off his tire-stained sock and donated the proceeds to charity.
