ANGELUS OAKS, Calif. (AP) - A 60-year-old woman has been shot and killed at a religious camp in California’s San Bernardino Mountains.
San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials say a staff member at Camp Cedar Falls reported a shooting in the conference center in the camp’s lodge on Monday afternoon.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jodi Miller says the woman was a guest at the Christian camp, which is owned by the Southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
Miller says 30-year-old Leith Hamilton of Angelus Oaks has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
She says detectives believe the two knew each other.
