20 million asthma sufferers fall into the high risk group for the H1N1 virus.

Many of them are at an even higher risk for complications if they get it.

The CDC says 26 percent of adults hospitalized for H1N1 have asthma.  It’s tough on them because their airways get inflammed faster and more easily.

Good news though for people suffering from the virus.  Approval for a new intravenous drug, Permavir, could come in just a few days.
