The first shipments of the shot version of the H1N1 vaccine are expected to arrive around the country this week.

In a recent CBS News poll, more than half the people surveyed say they’re unlikely to be vaccinated, but almost 60% of parents say they’re likely to have their children vaccinated.

A nasal spray vaccine is already available but supplies are limited.

And if you’re considering whether to get the H1N1 flu vaccine, one of the country’s top health officials says you’re better with it than without it.

A doctor from the Centers for Disease Control says any possible risks from the vaccine are greatly outweighed by the risks of contracting the flu.

Experts say it is safe to get shots for both the swine flu and the seasonal flu on the same day.
