2008 tax filing deadline finally arrives

The deadline to file 2008 tax returns is here.

Today is the last day you can send in your taxes if you filed an extension.
   
Taxpayers who miss the deadline will face a penalty plus interest on unpaid taxes.
   
There are some exceptions. that includes military members serving in combat zones overseas and those affected by natural disasters.
   
You can mail in returns or e-file.
