Last day to file taxes with extension

If you filed to extend the filing date for your 2008 income taxes, the deadline to get your return in is almost here.

The six month extension runs out Thursday, October 15th.
   
Taxpayers missing the deadline will be charged a penalty plus interest on unpaid taxes.
   
You can mail in returns or e-file.
