Senate extends tax credit for new home buyers

Good news for first time homebuyers looking to cash in on the government’s tax credit.
The Senate agreed to extend the eight thousand dollar tax credit until next Spring.
Lawmakers also decided to add a reduced credit of up to 65 hundred dollars for those in the market who’ve owned their current homes for at least five years.
