Goldsboro Police charge 22 year old with rape

The Goldsboro Police Department tells Nine On Your Side that they’ve arrested a 22 year old Goldsboro man for rape.

It happened on Monday.

Authorities say the arrest comes almost four months after the nineteen year old victim filed a report of a sexual assault. 

An investigation into the incident led to the arrest of Shane Allen Moore, Sr., who’s been charged with one count of Second Degree Forcible Rape.

Moore was placed under a $25,000.00 unsecured bond and placed in a pre-trial release program.
