UPDATE: Man Faces Charges for Slew of Break-ins

An Onslow County man faces more than 130 charges of breaking and entering after a string of thefts throughout the east.

Onslow County Deputies arrested Thomas Ruckman for 63 home break-ins in Onslow County.

Further investigation revealed that Ruckman was responsible for another 10 break-ins in eight surrounding counties including Jones, Pender, Duplin, Carteret, Craven, and Onslow.

This isn’t the first time Ruckman has faced charges such as these.  In 2006, he was arrested for multiple counts of breaking and entering.

Ruckman made his first court appearance today.
