Arrest made in Pharmacy Robberies
Newport police say the man responsible for robbing several pharmacies has been caught on tape. What he’s looking for are prescription drugs.
The robberies started in October in Pitt County. Over the course of four months the robber hit three stores in Winterville, three in Greenville, he struck twice in Newport and once in Ayden.
They say the similarities between the crimes lead them to believe they are all connected.
