Better Business Bureau: beware of work-at-home scam
» 3 Comments | Post a Comment

The Better Business Bureau issued a warning about a Raleigh company that’s scamming people out of money.

The BBB said Thursday that the Eco Venture Group cooked up a work-at-home scam. They asked customers to pay for material that supposedly explains how to make money by working at home. Customers provided a credit card number to cover shipping and later found out they were billed much more than they agreed to.

On Thursday the company appeared to be shut down. The doors were locked, the lights were off and no one answered the phone. The BBB said that’s usually a sign customers will not get their money back.

It’s extremely frustrating actually! That’s a total scam, then how about those who invested much money believing that they would generate more money from that work-at-home jobs? I think some are involving here because they wanted to come out of recession and get back to a period of low and steady inflation and economic growth. But those companies’ scams are devil, they don’t care at all. Worth getting short term loans to file a case against ‘em.

I am glad that Better Business Bureau was able to give out this alert.  I wish though it did when I signed up with Fisbuilder and wasted all my money because they did not live up to what they said they would do.  I called BBB but since there was no record of this company at that time, I was just told the same thing.

It’s terrible that this company scammed people like this.  I have worked from home for more than 10 years with legitimate companies.
Stay-Home-Income.com has over 100 companies listed that hire home workers like Convergys, Hilton, VIP Desk, West.  It’s completely FREE.  No strings or scams. These companies hire employees.
