Calls for Help Answered

Not too long ago a cancer survivor battling Crohn’s disease had a big dilemma.
And she called Nine On Your Side for help.
Blue Cross Blue Shield wasn’t covering Marykay Bond’s prescription medication for cancer and Crohn’s. They said they would only cover the generics. But those meds aren’t available in generic form, and bond needs them to live. So we called Blue Cross Blue Shield and they assured us they would help her. Now Bond tells us a couple of companies have stepped in.

Chronic Disease Fund Association Program, a non-profit, is taking care of her cancer medication.
Procter and Gamble and CIMplicity will take care of her Crohn’s treatment.
