Cancer survivor speaks about Beau's Buddies event
A cancer survivor in the east stopped by the Channel 9 studios Wednesday morning to speak about the upcoming Beau’s Buddies event, as well as his own fight with the disease.
Dr. John Gibbs, a board member of Beau’s Buddies cancer organization, spoke with Carley Wegner about his battle with cancer.
On Friday, Beau’s Buddies is holding a dinner and concert to raise money for the organization.
The concert will feature music artist, Heidi Newfield.
Doors open at 8 p.m.
