Census Bureau hiring thousands in NC for 2010 census

The Census Bureau is looking to hire thousands of people for the 2010 census.

Governor Perdue signed an executive order creating a “Census Complete Count Committee”.

That means 24 thousand jobs are up for grabs to establish local committees and coordinate participation in the census.

Hiring will begin in January.
